Abstract
In an aqueous suspension of graphite, containing a zinc oxide filler, and a silicate, phosphate or borate adhesive, the graphite has a heterogeneous distribution by weight with respect to grain size throughout the range of grain sizes 0 to 50 m , with the two highest peaks in the distribution curve lying one within the range 0 to 5 m and the other within the range 20 to 50 m . The suspension, which may also contain dextrine, is applied as a conductive coating on electric discharge tubes. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 925,521.
