Abstract

A method of knitting a cord or cords of a thermoplastic material comprises disposing a knotted portion within a mould and moulding a compatible thermoplastic material around said portion. The cord can, alternatively, be looped by looping it and placing adjoining or crossing parts thereof in the mould. The cord end may be stopped in a similar manner.
