966,231. Cabinets. SOC. ESSWEIN ET CIE. Jan. 17, 1961 [Jan. 20, 1960], No. 1826/61. Heading A4B. [Also in Division D1] A cabinet for a washing machine comprises sheet-metal side panels 1, 2 and boxsection cross-members 11-14, the lateral edge portions of the panels being folded to form box-section upright members 3-6. The cross-members are fabricated by folding and welding at the seam, and are coupled to the upright members by bolting, riveting, or welding. A sheet metal top panel 15 has a peripheral flange 16 to which the side panels are attached by screws 17. Sheet-metal front panels 18, 22 are attached to the members 4, 6 and cross -members 13 respectively, the panel 18 being attached by screws 19 and the panel 22 by hinges 23, 24.
