[Also in Division B4] The blades 10 of garden shears are produced as steel drop forgings each having a marginal strip 13 which projects from the remainder of the inner face 10a of the blade, the bevel edge 14 and the face 15 of the strip being ground while the remainder of the face 10a is left as forged or unground. The unground surfaces of the blades are anodized, painted or otherwise coated to prevent rusting and give a neat appearance or finish.
