[Also in Division H3] A superheterodyne receiver is built up from a chassis 4, 5, 6, 7 and printed circuit boards 2, 3, the board carrying components up to the output of the mixer, while board 3 carries components beyond the mixer stage. The board 2 is held in position by flanges 10 and lugs 11, the board 3 being engaged in a groove in insulating batten 20 with the sockets 19 co-operating with pins 18. The volume and tone controls, mounted on the front of the receiver, are connected through board 2 to board 3 and power is supplied from unit 21 through connectors 24. Further boards may be added connectable to board 2.
