A machine for destroying weeds comprises a number of triangular cutters 3 detachably connected to a cutter bar 9 which is fixed to supporting arms 4 and spray nozzles 7 arranged behind the cutters for discharging liquid weed-killer. The working depth of the cutters is adjusted by means of a skid 5. The supporting arms for the cutters and the cutter bar may be hollow and form conduits for the weedkiller.
