[Also in Group VIII] A typewriter ribbon or sheet has a readilytransferable light-coloured coating to obliterate errors on a typewritten sheet. The coating is microporous, oil-free, and not strongly coherent, and applied to the sheet as a suspension formed by admixing a light-coloured pigment, e.g. titanium dioxide, zinc sulphide, a binding agent, e.g. wax, resin or metal soap of a fatty acid, an adhesive, e.g. colophony, polyvinyl resins, albertate, and a liquid which is non- solvent for the adhesive agent and non-solvent or only slightly solvent for the bending agent. Wetting agents may also be incorporated. A single substance may serve as both bending and adhesive agent. Specification 25602/13 is referred to.
