931,816. Erecting cables. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CONSTRUCTION CO. Ltd. Nov. 20, 1961 [Nov. 18, 1960], No. 39722/60. Class 36. [Also in Group XXX] In a method of erecting overhead electric conductors under tension the conductors C are drawn along the route by a continuous bond 1 which is driven at 2 and tensioned by a weight 9 (Fig. 3, not shown). The tension in the conductor is maintained by braking devices 26. Details of connector for attaching the conductors to the bond (see Group XXX) and of a method of removing the conductors from the band to their final positions on the towers are also given.
