Abstract
936,869. Conveyers. STAMICARBON N.V. May 31, 1962 [June 1, 1961], No. 21109/62. Class 78 (1). Coal loosened by a coal plough 3 is carried away by a face conveyer 2 and is deposited into a gate conveyer 9 which transports the coal in the direction of an arrow A. When the plough 3 arrives at the end of its travel, the coal pushed along by the plough 3 and not loaded on to the face conveyer 2, is fed into a subsidiary conveyer 12 via a sloping plate 11. It is thereby deposited into the gate conveyer 9 via a shoot 14 sufficiently for upstream for the main discharge of coal from the face conveyer 2 to have been cleared from the discharge area of the face conveyer 2 before the residue loaded via the subsidiary conveyer 12 arrives there.
