Abstract

935,816. Inductors. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. July 5, 1962 [July 29, 1961], No. 25783/62. Class 38 (2). An electric choke includes a plurality of ring- like cores 1 round tubular conductor 4 to one end of which is fixed first transverse member 6 and through holes in which passes second transverse member 15, the central bolt 7 serving to clamp the cores between the transverse members. Resilient pressure on transverse member 6 may be provided by spring washers 11 under nut 10. The bolt and spring washers may be of magnetic steel, member 15 of non- magnetic steel and members 6 and 4 of copper. Coolant passages 19 are provided in tube 4 to which current connections are made through member 6 and end 17. The individual core sections are separated from each other and the transverse members by insulating spacers 2.
