Abstract

920,053. Television. COMPAGNIE FRANCAISE THOMSON-HOUSTON. Nov. 23, 1961 [Nov. 23, 1960], No. 41921/61. Class 40 (3). The last stage 10 of a transistorized videofrequency amplifier has a D.C. restoration device connected to its input, said device comprising a transistor 7 which also provides negative feedback to the stage, the feedback circuit including a diode 13 which renders the feedback circuit operative only during the duration of the synchronization pulses S. The transistor 5 is PNP and the transistor 7 NPN. During each image signal I the diode 13 is cut-off. During the synchronization pulses S the diode 13 conducts and the D.C. level detected by the capacitor 16 and resistor 14 and amplified by the transistor 7 is re-inserted in the base of amplifier 5. The synchronization pulse S also appears at the collector of the transistor 7.
