[Also in Group XL (c)] Relates to a control device for the speed change of the feeding of a web 3, the device controlling a pawl 13 by a solenoid 14 energized when relay 15 makes so as to ensure that an imprint at regular intervals on the web appears symmetrically on wrapped products. According to the invention, the voltage supply to the anode of a four-element thyratron 8 is fed via an interrupter 6<SP>1</SP>, a first grid is fed via a further interrupter 7<SP>1</SP> and a second grid is fed from the output of selenium 5 responsive to markings on the web. The first and second grids may be the screen and control grids, or vice versa.
