In a carton formed from three blanks as shown in Fig. 1, the gap usually occurring at the four bottom corners in this type of carton is closed by a triangular filler piece 10, Fig. 2. The sides 5 are formed from blanks stapled to the base 1 and have bends e, d, the corner between the bends being cut as shown in Fig. 2 to form the filler piece 10. Extensions 4 are folded down on to the base 1 and the portions 7 of the walls 5 prevent the extensions 4 from moving.
