Abstract
928,628. Treating sewage. L. VON ROLL A.G. Oct. 12, 1961, No. 36732/61. Class 46. Air is supplied to the sewage treatment tank via container 3 and forces water down to level 12, enters through openings 8 the aeration boxes 7 and finally further oxygenates the sewage via opening 4. The density difference in box 7 causes sewage to circulate in the direction of the arrow and optimum movement is guided by baffles 16. The aerator is preferably located in the upper third of the tank.
