Abstract

927,806. Pushing jacks. A. G. WILD & CO. Ltd. Jan. 3, 1962 [Oct. 10, 1960], No. 34591/60. Class 78 (3). A stell for use in mines in conjunction with a conveyer-advancing floor jack 20, 22 comprises a telescopic upper portion 10, 10<SP>1</SP> adapted to be adjusted by hand and a lower portion consisting of a second hydraulic jack 11 12 coupled to the control valve 31 of the floor jack for simultaneous actuation. The upper and lower parts of the stell are connected by a block 13 to which one or more spring-loaded balancing plungers 24 are attached. The upper part of the stell is positioned by pin and slot engagement means and is provided with a serrated roof cap 16.
