Abstract

927,647. Shuttering for casting walls. KWIKFORM Ltd. Oct. 31, 1961 [Nov. 9, 1960], No. 38413/60. Class 20 (2). [Also in Group XXV] A tie 10 for wall shuttering 12 is connected by a nut 19 to a bolt 15 securing the shuttering, the nut having an inner part 20 into opposite ends of which the tie and the bolt are screwed and an outer part 26 of tapered shape which is removed from the concrete, when the part 20 is unscrewed from the tie, by a rotatable collar 23 engaging the inner end of the part 26 after the bolt 15 and shuttering have been removed. A cross-pin 25 in the part 20 locates the ends of the tie and the bolt 15. The part 26 is made of wood. Specification 781,052 is referred to.
