Abstract

926,599. Aerials. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS G.m.b.H. Dec. 6, 1961 [Dec. 7, 1960], No. 43744/61. Class 40 (7). The radiation characteristics (Fig. 2, not shown) of the discone aerial 1, 2 (Fig. 1) are modified by the frusto-conical reflector 8 positioned as shown. The half angle # of the reflector 8 has a value of 67¢Œ7¢ degrees. The distance " α " is adjustable. The reflector 8 and the cone 2 are each connected to the outer conductor 4 of a coaxial cable feeder, the disc 1 being connected to the inner conductor thereof.
