Abstract

926,093. Reciprocating stirrers. TRIER BROS. Ltd. May 17, 1961, No. 18017/61. Class 86. [Also in Groups XXVI and XXVIII] In a reciprocating pump the plunger carries a member 28 which contacts the outer race 5 of a ball or roller bearing mounted on an eccentric 3 on a shaft 2. The bearing race 5 also contacts an agitator rod 33 which carries a perforated disc 36 mounted in a reservoir 15. Liquid, which may be a colloidal or other suspension, passes through a conduit 16a to the pump inlet.
