913,562. Picking fruit. JUKES, G. W. H. May, 23, 1961 [May 30, 1960], No. 18987/60. Class 6(3). A fruit-picking device comprises a ring 22 to which a bag or cloth sleeve is attached, the ring having a notched part 11 and a pair of loops 19 which are clamped to a fitting 16, on the end of a long handle 10, by a wing-nut 24, the fitting having alternative radial notches 25 in which leg-portions of the wire ring are clamped in different positions of adjustment. The handle 10 may be sectional with sockets and catches on abutting sections.
