912,932. Valves. STOKVIS KONINKLIJKE FABRIEK VAN METAALWERKEN N.V., W. J. July 19, 1961, No. 26184/61. Class 135. A valve comprises a housing having a straight through flow channel 2 in the region of a slat 3 inclined to the channel axis and a screwthreaded cylindrical member 1 forming part of the housing extends coaxially through the seat and engages the thread of a valve 5 guided by tubular extension 4. The valve 5 may screw on or in to the member 1 and has a shoulder 14 mating with a seat 15 when open to prevent linkage around the operating stem 6.
