Abstract

919,802. Delivering sheets. SIEMPELKAMP, E. April 4, 1960, No. 11902/60. Class 100 (1). [Also in Groups V and XXX] Sheets of wood chips &c. 13 are produced at a blank-forming station and are delivered by a conveyer 11 on to a hinged platform 22 which is provided with a downwardly sloping face down which the sheets slide and gather speed so that the gap 52 is greater than the gap 51 between sheets on the conveyer 11. The platform is pivoted at 42 and is swung so that sheets are delivered therefrom alternately to conveyer belts 23, 24 via stationary platforms 49, 50. The belts 23, 24 are driven at a greater speed than that of belt 11. The sheets are transferred by belts 23, 24 to a multi-lead rack prior to further processing in a press. Movement of the platform 22 is controlled by a device 80 which senses the gaps 51.
