Abstract
919,303. Generating combustion products under pressure. ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd. Sept. 6, 1961 [Oct. 14, 1960], No. 35382/60. Class 51 (1). [Also in Group XXVI] A gas turbine reheat system comprises one or more reheat stabilizers each of which is formed by a circular gutter divided into separate sections and has its own individually controllable separate fuel supply. Two rings 20, 21 of segmental stabilizer gutters in a jet pipe are fed with fuel from injector nozzles through radial pipes 22, 23, each pipe being associated with a segment and controlled by a valve 24 or 25, supplied by a main fuel manifold 26 controlled by a cock 27. Each segment may be separated from the adjacent segment by an air gap, a baffle plate or both.
