Abstract

916,012. Drawer-and-shell cartons. DAVIES & CO. Ltd., ALLEN. July 13, 1959 [March 13, 1959], No. 8866/59. Divided out of 916,011. Class 18. A drawer-and-shell carton has a tongue extending from the drawer with its free end engaging a slit in the shell so that when the drawer is opened a portion thereof swings down. In one form, Fig. 2, the drawer has a tongue 66 provided with lugs 67 engaging slits 45 in the shell. In another embodiment, Fig. 6, a tongue 75 in a drawer 70 engages a slit 7 in the shell so that as the drawer is opened a portion 77 is drawn down to form a step at the open end of the drawer.
