A locking arrangement for vehicle doors wherein a plurality of doors can be locked and unlocked from one point comprises a switch 8 which when turned first completes circuit 15a to operate bolt 7a on one door and when turned further completes circuits 15b, 15c, 15d to operate bolts on the doors in a predetermined sequence. In a modification, the switch 8 acts only as a distributer which is set as required, the circuit being completed by a switch operated when a door handle is turned slightly. The locks may be operated electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically and may be operated in groups.
