902,949. Removing dust from gas. HANDTE, S. Sept. 7, 1959 [May 15, 1959], No. 30495/59. Addition to 896,233. Class 55 (2). Apparatus for separating dust from a gas according to the parent Specification is modfied in that the vessels 1 and 2 of the main and preliminary separators are closed at their lower ends and contain water, a connecting-pipe 8 being provided to maintain a common water level in the two vessels. The part 11 of the pipe leading the gas being treated from vessel 2 to vessel 1 is in the form of a spiral.
