Abstract

902,816. Cleaning tanks. DIVERSEY (U.K.) Ltd. May 17, 1961 [Sept. 22, 1960], No. 17999/61. Class 138 (1). A tank cleaning device comprises a spray head provided with support members adjustably spaced apart for engaging the edge of a manhole. In the device illustrated spray head 13 on pipe 19 is positioned inside the tank to be cleaned and supported by an assembly including members 39, 41 and 59 engaging the inside surface of the tank and members 63, 69 held against the edge of the manhole to secure the device by rotation by hand wheel 55 of hub 57 threaded on member 59 to which member 69 is secured.
