Abstract

901,801. Leggings. KENT, H. F. Sept. 18, 1959 [Oct. 9, 1958], No. 31898/59. Class 141. A tubular legging 25 having an elastic supporting strip 27 attached to the front of its upper edge and an elastic loop 29 attached to the sides of its lower edge for engagement under the wearer's instep, is provided with a pair of divergent non-elastic fabric strips 26 extending between and attached to the points of attachment of the members 27, 29. The strips 26, 27 and loop 29 may be attached to the legging by snap fasteners 31, 32 or by sewing. The supporting strip 27 has a hook 28 at its free end for engagement over a waistbelt &c. The legging may be made of a synthetic resin or waterproofed paper.
