Abstract

A herbicidal composition comprises hexachlorocyclopentenone and a mineral oil, e.g. kerosene, diesel oil or fuel oil, preferably in the proportion of not less than 0.05 and not more than 20 gallons of the hexachlorocyclopentenone per 100 gallons of mineral oil. Other herbicides e.g. 2,3,6-trichlorophenylacetic, polychlorobenzoic and trichloroacetic acids or esters thereof may also be incorporated.
