Abstract
900,691. Copying telegraphy. CREED & CO. Ltd. Feb. 17, 1961, No. 5947/61. Addition to 837,394. Class 40 (3). The invention is a modification of the facsimile apparatus described in the parent Specification. In that apparatus the message form is moved between two coaxial cylinders, one end of the form being secured to means rotatable about the axis of the cylinders. In the present invention this means comprises a pair of discs arranged on said axis and at each end of the inner cylinder. The discs 9, Fig. 7, have projections 17 which engage perforations 26 in the message form 25, and may be joined by a bar which reduces the tendency of the leading edge of the message form to wrinkle. In a second embodiment, Fig. 14, the discs 38, 39 have flanges 40, 41, the message form edges being retained in the annular space between the flanges.
