908,478. Juice extractors. LIFE & BEAUTY Ltd. April 7, 1961 [Feb. 9, 1961], No. 4853/61. Class 28 (2). A lemon juice extractor comprises a fluted bulbous part 1, which merges at its base into a perforated annular tray-like part 2 which is rotatably supported on a juice receiving bowl 7. Moulded on the underside of the groove on the periphery of the tray are spaced gear-teeth 6 which engage with the gear-wheel 11, housed in the annular space between the bowl wall and the wall 10 of the base moulding, when the wheel is rotated by the handle 17. The lemon half is held stationary over the bulbous part, and the juice passes through the perforated tray or slits in the bulbous part 1 into bowl 7 as the bulbous part is rotated. Bowl 7 is provided with a pouring lip 3, and the apparatus may be tilted by a handle (not shown) attached to the base moulding. The parts may be made of nylon, metal or other suitable material.
