907,498. Boring heads. PAGLIERO, S. Nov. 29, 1960 [Jan. 25, 1960], No. 40935/60. Class 83 (3). A rotary tool holder comprises a body 1 having a driving portion 2, interchangeable tool supports 3, 4, screwed to the body at 7, coaxial spindles 10, 11, rotatable by graduated hand wheels 24, 23, secured thereto, and pinions 13, 14, on the spindles which engage racks on slides 15, 16, to move said slides radially to adjust tools 5, 6. Plungers 19, 20 are screwed into racks 15, 16, and the ends adjacent the tools are magnetized. The slides are secured in their adjusted positions by screws 17, 18, and the tools are secured by screws 21, 22, in the supports. A number of pairs of supports 3, 4 of different lengths are provided to increase the range of the tool holder.
