Abstract

905,815. Code telegraphy. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. Oct. 28, 1960 [Oct. 29, 1959], No. 37122/60. Class 40 (3). [Also in Group XL (c)] A double current telegraph receiving system includes two transistors, one conducting in the mark condition and the other in the space condition, which respectively energize the first and second windings of an electromagnetic receiving device. In the embodiment illustrated transistors of opposite type are used. The double current incoming line is connected at a1, b1 and has connected across it a resistor WL which presents a resistive load to the incoming line. When a1 is positive with respect to b1, the mark condition, transistor Tr2 conducts and current flows in winding II of the receiving magnet EM. When a1 is negative with respect to b1, the space condition, Tr1 conducts and a current flows in winding I of magnet EM. Fig. 2 (not shown), illustrates a system using transistors of the same type.
