Abstract

905,557. Switch covers. LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS-G.m.b.H. Sept. 18, 1959 [Sept. 22, 1958], No. 31927/59. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXVI] A switch 4 and a thermal overload protection device 5 are mounted on a metal cover 1 which is screwed through lugs 2, 3 to the housing of apparatus associated with members 4, 5, one screw forming an earthscrew for the housing and cover. Connecting cables pass through recesses 6, 7 whose edges engage grooves in rubber bushings which seal the cables and protect them against pull, Fig. 2 (not shown). When fitted, the cover encloses pressure-resistant bushings passing through the housing and having terminals engaging plug connections from members 4, 5, Fig. 3 (not shown). The cover 1 serves as a heat feeler for the device 5.
