904,796. Building panels; slab walls. PILKINGTON BROS. Ltd., MARKUS, T. A., and KAY, S. E. Oct. 18, 1960 [Oct. 22, 1959], No. 35860/59. Classes 20 (4) and 87 (1). In a panel unit for curtain walling comprising a steel plate or mesh 1 contained within fire-resisting material 2, 3 which is faced with glass, porcelain, or enamelled steel sheeting 9 and asbestos or plaster 10, the steel plate may be perforated and carries a bracket 4 with one or more apertured or slotted arms 5. The fire-resisting material is of bonded glass fibre, vermiculite, asbestos, plaster, concrete, or foamed polyurethane, and may be cast about the steel plate or may comprise two layers bonded together. A weather seal may be provided by a light frame 13. The unit is secured to a beam 8 by rag bolts 7 fitted with convex washers and the arm 5 is then covered with fire clay 12,
