Abstract

904,571. Sight-testing instruments. HUMPHRISS, D. June 1, 1961 [July 27, 1960], No. 26152/60. Class 97 (1). A sight-testing instrument for use ir binocular sight-testing comprises a lens holder having a handle and three lens mounts respectively for a negative lens, a positive lens and a cylindrical lens. As shown, a sight-testing instrument comprises a handle 10 and three mounts 11-13 respectively for a negative lens 14, a positive lens 15 and a cylindrical lens 16. A complete sight-testing equipment may comprise three such instruments, a first with lenses of power 0.25D (the cylindrical lens being crossed), a second with lenses also of power 0.25D (the cylindrical lens being piano-cylindrical) and a third with lenses of power 0.50D (the cylindrical lens again being crossed).
