Abstract

904,471. Cartons. MENSING, H., and KOHRIG, G. March 3, 1960 [March 3, 1959], No. 7506/60. Addition to 832,372. Classes 18 and 94(1). The lined carton of the parent Specification is provided with a closure means 30 in the form of a screw-threaded socket secured to the lining and projecting through an aperture in the outer carton. The socket projects through one of the closing flaps 7 and comprises a body 32 with a flange 33 for connecting to the inner lining, ribs 34 securing it against rotation when screwing on or off the cap 35. The flap 7 is provided with a recess for the screw closure which may thus be arranged flush with the flap and covered by the usual adhesive strip which holds the flaps in closed position.
