An antidazzle device, for example the spectacles shown, comprises an eyepiece having a clear lower portion 1a and an upper portion 1 extending to the upper boundary of the eyepiece and formed of alternately clear and opaque layers, the interfaces between the layers being arranged so as to provide a line of sight through the clear layers. A screw 6 with a nosepiece 5 is provided for varying the position of the eyepieces on the wearer.
