A trailer has two side parts 4 hingeable outwardly from the body 3 to increase its base area and to these extensions 4 and the body 3 is secured a flexible covering 6 having integral inflatable ribs 7 which with the rigid struts 9 and the ridge pole 8 maintain the covering in its extended position.
