Class 20(4) A reinforcing rod support comprises a metal part having laterally extending leg portions and non-metallic contact members 15 secured to the leg portions for supporting the metal part in position spaced away from the formwork. The contact members may be of plastic material, for example polyethylene. The supports may be of the continuous type shown in Figs. 1 or 5 or the individual type shown in Fig. 4.
