Abstract

898,224. Brackets. BRITISH INSULATED CALLENDER'S CABLES Ltd. Jan. 6, 1959 [Jan. 6, 1958; July 24, 1958], Nos. 463/58 and 23876/58. Class 52(5) [Also in Groups XXV and XXXVI] A spacer bar for a cable or pipe securing saddle has a tongue 11 at one end adapted to pass through and overlie one lug of a saddle designed to seat on the bar, and has at the other end means, or a hole to receive means, for attaching the other lug of the saddle to the bar, and has an aperture 2 between its ends for the passage of a securing screw. The attaching means for the second saddle lug may be a pair of lugs 20 which can be folded over, or merely a screw. The bar may be spaced from a supporting surface by side portions cut away to prevent condensation collecting there.
