897,467. Kerbs. SAFETICURB Ltd. Feb. 27, 1961 [March 30, 1960], No. 11188/60. Class 107. A kerb block formed in one piece comprises at least one drainage channel 3 leading from the upper face to a conduit 2 extending the length of the block, the portion 4 on one side of the channel being at a different level from the portion 5 and connected thereto by an inclined face 6 on the same side of the channel 3 as the portion 5. The portion 4 preferably inclined downwardly slightly towards the channel 3. A recess 7 has inclined walls 8, 8a, the walls 8 being stated to facilitate withdrawal of the block from its mould and the self-cleansing action of the block and the walls 8a having reflecting faces.
