896,149. Fire-resisting doors. SNITKER, J. C. Feb. 3, 1960, No. 3923/60. Class 20(3) A door or similar frame 14 of combustible material is given a list 22 of incombustible mineral material, e.g. asbestos cement or mortar comprising asbestos fibres glued &c. along a face of the frame directed towards the framed aperture and the list being in direct contact with the frame material. A strip of plywood 24 covering the side face of the frame may also cover the side face of the list 22. The door strip also has a similar list.
