Abstract

886,031. Spray-producers. VIHORLAT, NARODNI PODNIK. March 6, 1959, No. 7927/59. Class 69 (3). Liquid from a nozzle 4 flows as.a thin layer over the end 2 of an air tube 1, and on reaching the edge of a peripheral surface 5 is atomized by an air stream from a slot 3 moving perpendicularly to that surface to form an aerosol. The nozzle 4 may be carried on a rotatable head comprising a number of nozzles, any one of which, by turning the head, may be connected to the liquid supply. An air pressure of less than one atmosphere gauge is sufficient to form an aerosol.
