A plastic, e.g. polythene, cape A for use in obtaining a turkish bath fits around the neck and has a plastic, e.g. polythene, hoop C around the bottom end to hold that end under water. The cape has two side seams A and fits closely around the neck by means of a heat-welded hem B with elastic inside it, the hoop C being also in the form of a heat-welded hem.
