873,459. Dispensing powders : stoppers. GRUSSEN, J. June 9, 1959 [Oct. 10, 1958], No. 19720/59. Classes 21 and 125(3). A dispensing cover 1 for a box for powder comprises a hollow body 2 which is slidable over a box B of corresponding size and shape and has one end closed by a transverse wall provided with a hollow punch 4 and a collar 5 defining a dispensing orifice obstructed by a perforated member 7, the walls of the punch 4 having perforations 6 to allow the powder to pass. A rotatable cap 9 is retained by a bead 11. Rotation of the cap 9 is limited by the ends of a slot 12 formed in its abutting a projection 13 on the collar 5. In one of these abutting positions perforations 14 formed in the cap register with perforations 8 formed in the member 7. In a modification, Fig. 3, the tip portion of a central core 17 of the punch 15 has a cross-section in the form of a cross to provide exterior grooves to direct the powder flow. A removable outer cap 20 is mounted on an inner cap 18 which is provided with perforations 19.
