Abstract

871,261. Distributers for pulverous or granular materials. ABVIKA-VERKEN A.B. Oct. 27, 1958 [Oct. 31, 1957], No. 34362/58. Class 6(1). In a distributer for pulverous or granular materials, the material is fed from a hopper 1 to a suction nozzle 9 by an endless band 5, the material being drawn into a blower 11 provided with a plurality of discharge openings 12 which are evenly distributed about the periphery of the blower housing. Hoses 13 extend from the openings 12 and are attached to a beam 14. The amount of material fed to the nozzle 9 is controlled by an adjustable shutter 8. The blower 11 is driven from a tractor power shaft. The blower may be constructed to rotate about a vertical axis and may be situated at the front or to one side of the hopper.
