Abstract

879,203. Wrapping bottles. ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH) Ltd. April 21, 1958 [Jan. 24, 1957], No. 2544/57. Class 94(1). The pleated neck-enclosing portion 18 of a cellulosic wrapper on a bottle is shrunk in position to improve appearance by spraying with liquid, e.g. water, and then allowing it to dry. Wrapped bottles may be fed by a conveyer 11 through, a " tunnel " 12 having apertures 16 through which the liquid is sprayed by nozzles 17. The bottle is wrapped by. the method described in Specification 879,201.
