[Also in Group XXXVI] A tape for wrapping electric cables is woven plain from a warp of sized cotton singles and weft consisting of two unsized singles of cotton or rayon laid together without twisting; the warp also contains two ends of copper or aluminium strip or wire at intervals across the tape, woven over and under two picks of weft.
