Abstract

<PICT:0878529/III/1> <PICT:0878529/III/2> A detergent tablet, e.g. of soap, has a form bounded by three surfaces, two of which form the two principal faces 2 of the tablet and are cylindrical surfaces convex outwards, the axes of the cylinders being parallel to each other and the surfaces being symmetrically positioned about a line which is parallel to the axes of the cylinders and midway between them, this line forming the principal axis of the tablet itself, and the third surface 1 being the surface of a cylinder, preferably of elliptical cross-section, the major axis of the ellipse being also the principal axis of the tablet.
