In a clock the hands 7, 8, 9 move over a face 2 in the form of a photograph, a postcard, a painting, a drawing, a calendar or a mirror which is located between the front and rear casing parts 3 and 1 mounted in a support member 15. The face has a central hole whereby it is fitted in place over the aligned hands.
